Pros

Smartlife app is super simple to use and alexa connects easily. Works best with iphone. Works with alexa which is handy.

These are a fraction of the size, and very easy to configure. Once you get connected everything is a breeze. Great outdoor wifi plug.

Great plug. Serves it's purpose very well. Works flawlessly. Love the versatility.

The instruction pamphlet says to look for the electronic outlets category in the smart life app. Once it pairs, it figures out exactly what kind of device it paired to. The 5 ghz band. Ghz ssid for this device.

Cons

Outdoor plug is impossible to setup and support is virtually nonexistent. Poor on instructions. No extreme whether, no rain. This condition is not listed in the setup instructions.

After multiple resets this plug is now completely unreliable as it goes offline multiple times a day. Experimented by changing connections and problem persists. Probably another china piece of junk.
