How about a cottonlayer like material around the ears so i can hear if i’m walking up on a rattlesnake and it’s not happy

My only complaint is that the flapping sun shade is noisy while running but i guess thats unavoidable

The bill could be longer to be a better sun shield and to keep rain off the face but it should be ok

I looked at several of these sun shields on the internet and at amazon but all had snaps holding the sides on bulky pull cords at the rear and in my experience these dig into the head not comfortable

This may also be great for the riding mower it wont blow off like full brim hats and offer ear protection that baseball hats cant do
