Was kind of expecting the plug holes to be covered but when we went to plug something in it was evident it was sealed somehow down inside

At least it felt sealed because there was a definite push needed to get the plug pushed in all the way

The wall plug points to right which completely conflict with my lidded outlet therefore i cannot use this
