So i have an old nest cam that i wanted to put outside dont want to go and buy a new outdoor model

Everything seems built well and the glass lens over the camera lens doesnt seem to effect the night vision

They have a washer unit that keeps down the night vision glare so that works well also

To make it fully weather proof i had to seal the cord hole with silicone

At night it is useless because there is too much reflection with the ir light inside the case a problem i have not had with other outdoor nest cam cases

Only thing that doesn’t work well is night vision but i just turn the ir lights off and it works great

The most difficult part was finding a usb to micro usb cord that actually fit in the enclosure
