The instructions are a poorly printed a4 piece of paper

The pistons do work despite how they appear at first

The instructions do not tell you this and i spent ages thinking they were broken and not wanting to install them for fear of the bed being locked in the open position

However when you put the mattress on and apply equal pressure to both sides it required most of my upper body strength it slowly lowered
