This case has turned my phone into a tank.I'm now under the impression I could throw it off an overpass and it would survive the fall.It's not bulky, and it's about as thin as the average phone case you'd get from a retailer. It slides into my pocket and is not anymore noticeable in my pocket than the phone on it's own.That being said, I have noticed it is relatively difficult to press the power or sleep button on the side of the phone, when the case is on. It may be that the buttons need to be worn in, or that my hands need to acclimate to the case itself. Either way, I believe that the reasoning for this is only to improve the structural integrity of the case, and by extension, the phone. Removing any weak spots, such as a flimsy power button cover, can contribute to this.  Read Less
