Pros
The clamp holds a samsung galaxy s6 perfectly. The cradle expands to fit larger phones, like a samsung note. Perfect for my iphone 6s plus.
Holds securely both on the car vent and the phone. Holds the phone snugly and has a tight grip on th the vent. It holds my phone securely, without any gouges, due to the padding inside phone holder.
Cons
The holder falls under the weight of any phone over about a 5 screen size. When you try to tighten be plastic nut to hold everything in place, the nut pops off. Hanging clip is too wide.
This item is complete garbage. It is smaller than i was expecting, is made of cheap plastic, and is difficult to use. Horribly designed.

The last one that i used i had to use a screwdriver to remove it and even then it was very difficult to do

My dashboard is too curved for a friction mount the windshield is so far forward that i cant reach a device mounted on it and my air vents have deep thick grills that most vent mounts cant reach around they also swivel in all directions which could have been a problem

I drove 500 miles much of it in rough conditions and the mount didnt come off and barely shifted

When i installed this like its pictured in the product photos the weight of the phone would cause it to move all over the place and it was really irritating

But then i realized that if i rotated the vent until it was horizontal and upsidedown the holder would stay level
