    My 40 year old pitman arm was really corroded onto the power steering shaft i broke two other pullers trying to get it off

    I decided that if this didnt work then id add a 3 foot long cheater to get it off or break the tool trying

    With the cheater i had to put my back into it and i finally felt a give which i interpreted as the tool failing bending stripping out but it was actually was the arm coming off

    Definitely high strength threadsbolt put a little grease on them used to remove pitman arm on my 88 toyota pickup v6 hit it with a 20v dewalt 12 impact and as tight as i could with a 12 breaker some squirts of rostoffpb blaster and a few hits with s 5pb hammer it popped loose

    Broke out a ratchet and pipe cranked it as tight as i could and hit it with a hammer again
