Pros & Cons
Pros
The deuter groden 32 is a smaller backpack that is just as good. This is my main backpack mountain walking in winter. Cracking pack, fits all my essential gear for a few days with room to spare.
The trampoline system on the back is genius (no more sweaty back) although i am just a little worried how durable it will be. It's light and breathable but also has a frame to support your back.
Cons
The shoulder straps are extremely uncomfortable.

Also if you take the matching osprey hydraulics hydration pack be aware that this will eat into the room in the bag and you end up packing stuff more to the sides of the bag because of the bulge in the middle

The problem with most rucsacs is that when they are adjusted to suit someone under 165cm the internal frame prevents the head from being tilted back to look up with only looking straight ahead being about as far as their head will tilt backwards

It also has other nice touches that are missing from far too many rucsacs like tabs for straps on the top that will hold a bulky rolled up foam sleeping mat
