Pros & Cons

Pros

They are soft, very absorbent and very durable. This gives me so much absorbency in the front where i need it but no extra bulk in the *. Very absorbent when totally prepped.

Baby rarely gets a rash, even if i don't change him right away. Leaving them outside keeps them stain-free too as the sun bleaches them. They are very durable and easy to clean. They clothe and protect.

The pricing is really good. They are easy to prep and easy to use. I'm excited to use them and see how they do.

Gdm has a very slightly rougher yarn with slightly less lint. I think both work fine and find myself reaching for premiums over regulars as they are more substantial and thicker. Not too bulky as a diaper.

Average sized newborn, 7-8lb newborn, infant or newborn size prefolds are the way to go when dealing with the umbilical cord and a small babe. Seems thinner/less layers than my non bleached osocozy prefolds.

Cons

After every washing, white fibers litter in the inside of my washing machine and everything that was in it. They shrunk so much as to be unusable for my 4-month old. Seems to be of lesser quality than gmd too.

Quality

These work perfectly with the thirsties diaper covers

I believe also a similar quality of cotton although gdm has a very slightly rougher yarn with slightly less lint

Yes with shipping they were a little higher priced but the quality compared to the name brand was far superior

Bought these inserts in infant size with the blue borders and they still fit my 5 month old just fine

Price

I was considering a dozen large size gdm clotheez but they were going to cost me around 414

Packaging/appearance

There seems to be no license stamp on the packaging anywhere

Competitiveness

Much nicer than cheap gerber walmart brand

They seem pretty stain resistant compared to other brands i have used

They were 13x9” before prepping and after they shrunk to 8x12” about

Like you would see with a gerber diaper

After use for 2 children none of them were in too bad of shape to gift to a friend

This gives you an extra 6” on the gdm smalls but none of the added width

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If i would have sized up to the large brown gdm i would have had 2 more inches of width to deal with and only 4 more inches of length

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Good if you are trying to wrap and pin on a larger baby but not as a pocket insert

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Im assuming that these are actually manufactured for companies that do a diaper service

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

These were bought for my new granddaughter as she is very tiny just like her mommy was and the regular size cloth diapers are way too big for her
