Quality

Easy to apply with a cloth and covers well, this tin was more than capable of doing 2 coats over 7ms of worktop.

Love osmo oil, covers well and dried quickly leaving a great finish.

Then after 20 minutes of letting the oil soak, i went over again, mopping up any excess.

After sanding, i wiped the surface down with isopropyl alcohol, which removed any loose dust.

Packaging/appearance

Photo attached, i didn't like the colour, was expected to be lighter but my mistake.

Competitiveness

Waaaaaay better than danish oil or any other cheap nonsense i’ve tried in the past.

After a bit of research (not enough) it appeared like the appearance might be very similar so i went with this one (natural) as...  Read More

However i havent tried osmo poly oil 3044 so i cant confirm on benefits or appearance after application

I applied with a good quality 3” soft paintbrush and 1” for edges and really worked it in as it’s quite thick to ensure it was properly evened out with no milkiness i then went over it with a lint cloth to work off any residue and create a very thin layer with the intention to apply more layers in stages with a very light sand using a 250 grit sanding pad between each application until the water is beading on the surface and then i’ll top up over time

If you see any milky areas after application then id say they will almost certainly dry that way and then youll feel compelled to moan about it on amazon reviews saying the product is crap when really its just you thats crap at applying it
