The eject button on the back top has no give and is just a touchsensitive area so theres no tactile feedback but it works all the same

I am unable to comment on the playback of a blu ray disc because i only used it to convert titles to digital copies on vudu however i believe the reported issue with jumpy playback was the result of a low quality computer or video card however this is pure opinion as the customer did not divulge their computer hardware specs
