This is a great bluray drive ive been using it for a couple months now
Apparently this model laptop doesnt have an option from dell for a bluray drive so a thirdparty drive was needed
Works great in my msi gt72 laptop was able to reuse the stock faceplate simpe swap with this one

To install i powered off removed battery installed drive put battery back in plugged back in then powered up but the device did not show up

The only thing that gave any resistance was the swapping out of the faceplate
