What i normally did is set the phone sideways closed the pokemon go app opened google fit clicked to start tracking walking and start swinging the phone

Most of the time that model registered the kms in google fit but didnt count them in pokemon go

Tried everything that occured to me batteries ac both at the same time phone in every posible position etc without result so it was a let down and returned it

If i do 7 kms in gf it registers 7km in pg

Obviosly you have to close pg and open gf start a walking threadmill and you can even turn off the screen

It fits my s9 but it doesnt always register distance in pogo
