Anything you buy that didn't come with the car seat isn’t safe! This definitely isnt safe.

I picked this one for the warm backing especially in chicago winterit seems as i have to keep adjusting it to make it lay smoothly and the top does not close so u still need another cover to go over top of carrier to keep wind off baby’s head and facei’m keeping only because we travel solely by car and it has a zipper that goes all around bottom making it easy to open so baby doesn’t overheat in a heated car
