Margaret is a genius very few books capture my imagination as much as she doescrake and his wise words pretty much sum up humanity and all the wrong we dothe story is brilliantly written as snowman jimmy tells if his childhood in the compound his gradual learning of what they are really up to his bond with genius crake and the chaos that clever but damaged crake unleashesbut what i love the most is her vivid imaginationpigoons wolvogs the crakers chickinobs and happi cuppa to name a fewand how nearly she references in history and the inhumanity we perpetuate and how we are the onky race to not self regulatei kept on trying to explain this book to my kids this book deserves to be a gcse syllabusintelligent writer

Sort of scifi sort of dystopia atwood calls it speculative fiction i suppose because what she has written isnt really too far off the mark from the real world
