Pros & Cons
Pros
This belt really helps control my umbilical hernia. The easiest way to put it on is with the velcro ends on your belly side. Since the belt has to be fasted in the back, i just reverse it to hold the other belt and bubble thingy in place.
The pad is the perfect cushioning. It is practically seamless. Comfortable for an active contractor.
The little bubble piece is worth the money alone. Great product. Hope they will come out with a side close option.
For my umbilical hernia, this works. It isn't painful, but definitely causes a bit of irritation. Reduced my pain by 90%. Provides great support and less frequent mild herniation episodes.
Cons
It fastens in the back which makes it difficult or impossible to put on by yourself unless you are a contortionist. Which means i have to twist my body all the way around, to fasten it.
Not happy with this umbilical hernia belt. Velcro is directly in the back and because i have issues with joints, it is almost impossible to attach it. Tried to velcro it together in the center of my back (wha?
