I initially thought that the ones claiming the 5 hour life were being conservative and the ones claiming 7 were being aggressive but i asked questions and read reviews and the ones claiming the 7 hour battery life get about 7 hours and the ones claiming the 5 hour battery life were getting about 5 hours so it must be 2 separate batteries

If you go through the reviews youll find that on the 7 hour models there are some people claiming that the battery doesnt work or stopped working a little while after purchase

Not a significant likelihood as the 7 hour battery models still have 4 stars but if you get one with the 7 hour battery life like the ones above you are taking that risk although of course you could return it if its within the return or warranty period
