Works perfectly with my intel 660p 512gb ssd
I was able to get near full drive speed of my samsung nvme drive using this enclosure connected via usb 3
I also turned the computers fans on to max at least while i clone the old spinny drive onto the new 2tb ssd

Now the bad news while the enclosure seems to do a good job of drawing heat from the ssd it does get hot to the touch and the jmicron adpater which is how it shows up in disk utility—the intel data is hidden doesnt let you see how hot it is smart data is not passed through

I eventually put mine into the computers exhaust path to cool it down which seems to help but this cant be good for the ssd
