Pros

The dock comes with two usb cables. It also has a built-in power supply, so a standard power cord is used instead of a blocky, external adapter.

The dock works perfectly with 4kn drives such as seagate exos st8000 nm002a. The padded feet on the bottom of the dock are reasonably wide and do a good job keeping the dock stable. Hubs work with samsung t5 t7 at 10 gb/s.

Cons

As with other reviews here the customer service from orico is non-existent. No arriesgue su información. No pierda su dinero y compre otra marca. The software is a joke.

I have installed 4 ssd with the orico adapter with no problems at all

Great high quality product using to backup pc and imac

I have tried a similar brand as orico and i was not pleased with its build quality

I wont rate this object from an amazon warehouse snaffu im rating it on my experience with the new one though

If the price was less than what was paid for i would have kept it because it still worked

By turning either the switch on the orico or a switch on the usb hub you can shut off the drive when you do not need to access it

Competitiveness

I have purchased several orico enclosures over the years and particularly like the mountingfree installation of hard drives

This is the second orico product may first being a 2 bay set up as a raid

Remember people raid is not a backupi got two years out of it
