A friend loaned me her copy and urged me to read it. This book is a definite keeper & will be on my bookshelf for years to come.
The author suggests purging any and all bulk excess. Put the donate bag in the front seat so you're forced drop it at the donation place.
Each section has a detailed explanation, example photos, and a short checklist for quick reference. For example, the section on phones has a corded phone and a phone book. The after pics are pics of real places.
She hit on things i've thought my whole life were shortcomings in my i'm so disorganized" her books are well organized, easy to read, and provide clear instructions. She keeps it streamlined and simple.
Cons
The scope of her book is incredibly narrow and lacks cohesion in some parts. She is very clear about this, but i think it deters from the book.
Many people who have add are also perfectionists and don't like being managed. Where are these fabulously wealthy adhd people? Author has zero understanding of the adhd brain.

This is coming from an adult who has adhd and never any correction or assistance with organization or my diagnosis as a child i feel like i am constantly the blind leading the blind for my own adhd child and my two toddlers

I checked this book out from the library… then lost it 12 hours later

Some of her tips are a little extreme but might be necessary for people with very severe adhd i’m thinking of her socks and towel suggestions

The downsidesi definitely purged stuff i should have kept and ended up spending money to buy stuff to replace what i threw awayi probably spent about a grand on furniture mostly at ikea amazon and the dollar store on various shelves bins and buckets
