Pros & Cons
Pros
This book is for everyone, and especially for adhders. She hits on things i've thought my whole life were shortcomings in my i'm so disorganized. Helps you understand what adhd/add is and how it impacts your ability get organized.
This book is a definite keeper & will be on my bookshelf for years to come. Which makes a huge freaking difference in my opinion.
For every specialized kitchen tool, there is an old-school way of doing that task that works just fine or at least well enough. Pinsky literally breaks down each room bit by bit. Easy to understand and implement.
The section on phones has a corded phone and a phone book. The after pics are pics of real places. Short bursts of words, photos, sticky notes, and nearly every area is is on one page.
Cons
Some generally good advice and some genuinely awful advice within this book. She advocates for it to be so spartan. The author needs to visit a thesaurus.
Only have one lotion, one haircare product, one brush. Not folding socks & underwear is a huge timesaver. One section actually tells you to throw out all of the socks you have.
She seems to think all adhd people are the laziest slobs on the planet. Where are these fabulously wealthy adhd people? She has zero understanding of the adhd brain.

Not only good reading for the one with the disorder but helpful for anyone who lives with them
