Usually when a product from amazon does not work for me, i quietly return it. I use the subscription for about 3 months and the package the normally comes is another one. My mistake, but what a rip off.

The smell also lacks the buttery, yet grassy, aroma of matcha. No amount of sweetener fixes how bitter it tastes. It’s like dirt - and not a good kind of ‘earthy’ flavor.

The color is off, it's a mustard yellowy green instead of the rich green color. This is a brownish green and the taste reflects it. The powder is brown and matcha should be a vibrant green.
