However to have the dried apples ready for my recipes i strive to keep some of the apples along with other dried fruits soaking in a small amount of water in the refrigerator at all times

The apple pieces are chewy but not tough

Also the package states thart the ingredients are organic apples however there is a statement directly underneath that says warning this product contains chemicals known to the state of california to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm
