Pros

Great product but the packaging needs work. The new packaging is on the left, older one on the right. The newer one is thicker plastic and without bible verses. Best brand of coarse horticultural grade perlite on the market.

The quality and the size of the pearlite is fine. This is great for carnivorous plant soil mixes! Can also be mixed with soil for aeration. Philodendrons, monsteras, and some epiphytes.

Cons

This perlite is what you would find in potting soil. It's not perlite at all, it's foam. The size of a fourth of a quarter as pictured, this is not for you.

The grade is not xtra course - see image of the bag where the label says xtra. The perlite looks great but packaging is definitely not good at all. This bag is at most 5 liters.
