Pros
Oregon scientific tht312 indoor/outdoor thermometer clock with wired probe. It provides indoor and outdoor temperatures. The wire of the wired probe is slim enough to feed out a window and the window will still seal properly.
The device is easy to use, configure and read. This is a great gadget that i bought on a doctor's recommendation.
Seems like a sturdy unit with good *. Only drawback for me is the probe is very small. Very satisfied with the purchase.
The battery lasts a long time and it is simple to use. The clock is a bonus. Since the clock is superfluous, that matters little. It is battery powered.
Setup is a breeze and the lcd display is very easy to read. The back light is great in the evening when the lights are dim. Easy to read and appears very accurate.

This thermometer was super simple to set up and works excellent
It even has an alarm clock feature and you hardly ever have to change the batteries
It no longer functions as an alarm clock and the warranty is void but that doesnt bother me
Price
This is a great buy for the price too
I found this thermometer to be excellent value for its price and and perfect accuracy
But for the price its worth it as long as you get a new item since thats what youre paying for
Did not use the alarm so cannot comment on that but all in all we are very satisfied with this gadget that came for a good price
Shipping
It does all it was advertised to do and was received promptly
The product showed up on time thank you amazon and works as expected
Competitiveness
For comparison i used another outside thermometer and it is accurate 1 degree
The thermometer is working like a charmit measures the same temperature that the local weather beaureau in puerto rico
Based on reviews read here on this device and other reviews on other similar products i chose to purchase oregon scientific product

In the wrong temperature i tend to pass out so i needed something accurate so i could make sure my temperature stayed good in the house

I cant tell you if its calibrated or anything but it will tell you if you need to put on a coat or not
