Pros
Orbital floor care machines are kind of outdated these days. I also use it for quick touch ups in between my monthly buffings.
Cons
This pad is great as far as the wool part, but the string that is used to tie the pad broke after the 2nd wash. This pad has a drawstring that hangs out that is not seen in the picture. The draw string got chewed up in the rotating disk.

I use this in combination with the carpet bonnet for my brazilian cherry hardwood floors
Using this method you will retain its quality and shape after multiple uses and washings
It is a bit thin so i think i will need a replacement after a few jobs however it is much better than the pad that came with the buffer

We keep our floors clean and i did not see any difference after using the bonnet on the oreck 550 buffer
