I cant really imagine using it for food i suppose if you wanted to keep a bit of cheese some fresh small peppers or ginger root or something like that in it you could but for most things it would be too small

With a mini fridge you really do not get much room

I have curved shelves in my fridge so if you have like i do it will not work

These easily get buried or lost until i get time to completely clean out my fridge and by then they are often no good
