Pros

Sturdy, very easy to set up & read. Easy to fit. We remove them in the autumn and keep them indoors throughout the winter months.

Simple to program with plenty of timing options and works flawlessly. There is a manual override button which is brilliant when the summer sun is exceptionally strong. Settings are made by simply rotating the big dial from one each notch to the next.

Well made and intuitive watering timer. My flower tubs and baskets are fabulous!

Other brands of tap timer are very fiddly and this stands out as being easy to use. Arrived well packaged and no defects orproblems. Best of all it is so versatile.

May unpacked from its poly bag, fitted two new batteries, set the clock and a preliminary set of start times. It uses aa batteries unlike other units which use larger more expensive ones.

Cons

City leaked everywhere. Failed after drying any battery pair. Hilariously reduces flow so as to be unusable for a drip feed system from a water *.

Got this to replace a hozelock cloud controller that just wouldn’t work for more than 5 minutes without dropping it’s connection

Stored away in a polythene zip bag until next spring lets see if it comes back to life unlike some competitors

It is substantially made and gives the impression it should survive for more than the 12 to 18 months achieved by their competitors
