They are called sustainable towels because they regenerate used cotton using no fertilizers pesticides there is no wasted water and they actually save space in landfills

We have an older front load washing machine and the towels are so absorbent that the machine errors due to excess weight if i try to wash anything else with these four towele

The weight of them is good too not so heavy as to take forever to dry but not so light that theyll fall apart quickly

Id assume thats because they are made from regenerated cotton which is touted as being ecofriendly and for that you pay a premium price
