Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The sponge rinses out much easier than a microfiber or sheepskin mitt. It isn't as ergonomic as i’d like but the extra surface area means more passes on a single panel.

This sponge is pricey but works like no other. I am an avid detailer who spends a lot of his weekends detailing cars. I love the sponge it’s very durable and flexible.

This sponge lasts years, it cleans well, doesn’t mar paint. Cleans great and wont scratch or marr the paint. I have onr at the 1:256 dilution in a solo 418 1 liter sprayer.

Cons

If it dries out, it simply crumbles. Maybe it's good for a hood suspended on two sawhorses like in the demonstration videos, but on real cars, i much prefer a microfiber cloth or washpad.

Quality

No scratch the car good quality and easy to use

I love the sponge it’s very durable and flexible

Some of the motor oils tar and traffic film get trapped in the sponge even with onr and have to be removed with power clean

Still torn between using this sponge or microfiber cloths with onr wash

Price

Was definitely worth the 20 dollar price amazing sponge will be buying more in the future

So lets see 25 divided by 900 equals 28 cents per use

Cost is high wish it were 10 but i can see the premium when i use it

I just wish it wasn’t so expensive because it’s just a sponge

Shipping

On september 24th i washed the car only with onr diluted 2561 and the bsr with no prerinse or pressure spraying

Competitiveness

This is actually one of the older sponges that onr makes and its mostly the black sponge thats being advertised

Ive used this big red sponge more than one hundred times and it has already outperformed any other 34mitt34 or sponge that i formerly used

With onr i know many just use wash mitts mf towels or cheap sponges but anyone who claims alternatives are as good or better ei...  Read More

Both sponges are very similar and i do find that the black one is better because the exterior is softer
