No artifacts, wiggles or other annoying twitches. Opening tray sometimes takes two presses. Love the keyboard function wich when pressed shows a navigation menu of typcal tasks.

The image is not even close to hd 780p. If you have a high-end hdtv they come with internal upconverters that won't let you notice any difference when comparing this product to any other dvd.

As far as the competition out there for upconverting players

As a reader previously said this unit comes with a highend 6 ft hdmi cable

I compared to bluray samsong bdp1200 and saw no difference

For the cost though i said forget it ill pay a little more and just by a bluray player instead
