As long as you are not hanging anything overly heavy on it it should function well

The hook is bent in a smaller diameter than a clothes pole so it would have to be bent open to fit over the pole in a closet

Im using this on my charbroil grill instead of the much more expensive charbroil gear trax hooks which are made of plastic

I was dubious when they arrived thinking the wind might blow them off the original hooks they would be hanging from

They are thin and light so if you want something heavy duty look elsewhere
