Most importantly it does not use the tripod screw as the attachment pointwhich i permanently affix my quick release plate to so that was not an option for me

The biggest difference between this and the double sling is the center strap not only does it provided a method of stabilizing the harness it can also be used to attach another camera

I bought this strap because i did not trust the others to attach 5000 equipment on one plastic connection that may snap anytimethis one has 2 straps for each camera that are not connected to a same joint so for any reason if one of plastic bracket snapped off your camera still connected to the strap

I am so glad that i bought this harness rather than the black rapid or one of the others that attach via the tripod plate

As a birder i use the second connector to my binocular but with an extra set of connectors would easily switch out to an extra camera

I cant imagine getting anything any better for this price especially if you dont want to make it harder to pop your camera onto the tripod
