Pros

The 10-inch old hickory butcher knife is a classic. The only thing a tad underwhelming is the roughness of the handle. do not put in the dishwasher.

It is carbon steel so it will take & hold an edge.

Flea market knife guy or gunsmith guy, when i want this blade sharpened. This * sharpens easy and i use it every time i smoke meat. The knife can be sharpened to a razor edge and holds the honing.

Cons

The knife is very rustic and un-refined. Need to be sharpened came dull. Cut my finger holding onto it.
