Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The spyderco tenacious is as strong as the rat1, but it is assisted. The blade is sharp and flys out with authority! Only complaints are the grip is a little thick but not much more than a tenacious.

The safety is in a proper position and does not protrude enough to be accidentally manipulated. The safety lock slider is a little stiff still. That is easily fixed with a little super glue or just remove it.

Blade is sharp and has no sidle play or looseness when locked open.

Lockup is impossibly solid with that click that screams quality. The clip. Is out of the way of the thumb stud, making it easier to open with either hand.

It flicks open as fast as any assisted openers on the market. The assisted open is flawless. Mechanism is fast and crisp.

Cons

Heavy, bulky and the ao spring is pretty cheap feeling. The assist is not very powerful and this type of design doesn't really take advantage of an assisting spring. The manual is half the price and just as useful.

Quality

The quality on these knives is outstanding

Also as to the quality the blade centers perfectly and im a perfectionist

Given these positives i remain disappointed in the openingclosing mechanism and design

I know theyre made in taiwan but quality is quality no matter where it comes from

Price

Awesome knife at that price or even double the price

I had a cheap knife fail me when it counted before so i do not consider this price too much

Packaging/appearance

This is by far the sharpest knife i own right out of the box

Ill probably just sandbuff off the paint

Competitiveness

I had my choice between this or a benchmade griptillian and i didn’t hesitate on buying this over the grip

This is a very solid wellmade knife for the price

Solid lockup g10 handle is easy to grip and fast one handed deployment makes this a nobrainer purchase

Like it every bit as much as a benchmade
