The threads on this item are wider than the original hole on the grill had to widen the hole for this part to fit in

The original char broil push button igniter only had two terminals of which one was for the main grill

Only issue is the threads where the battery goes is about 18 larger diameter than the stock one so had to enlarge the mounting hole in the grill to fit
