I would say the only thing they are missing is an onoff switch where i see there are alternatives available which offer this

I just plug into a usb port on the socket used for the kettle note there is no inline switch on this product which was fine with me

Its all out of sight so no problem with how it looks but the illumination is grear

The only downside is the adhesive which is a bit iffy when trying to stick to a surface which is not too smooth and is continually warming up and cooling down but overall a good product
