Pros & Cons
Pros
The only thing that i am not on, is that the hand pads/grips are a little bit too narrowly positioned to the center. Im about 210 and it doesn't budge at all.
"had i purchased it, would i be happy with my purchase? It works perfectly.
The bar fits in an old apartments with very weak and old door frames. Rotation extends or reduces the length of the bar depending on the direction. The collars to insert and lock the bar are a bit gimmicky, but workable. The only caution you must take... Read More
Cons
I could not find a secure way to install this in my home. The grips don't work - upon installation, they look great, but the second you try to use them, they give. Calling a carpenter tomorrow to get a repair estimate.
Highlights
Quality
It’s really well made and good for at home workouts during covid
This is very easy to install and definitely sturdy
The bar itself is quite heavy and sturdy which is reassuring that it wont give way
I had to return the first product received because of a defect in one of the end pieces that prevented the bar from attaching
Shipping
It took us a little while to get this securely in place but once we did it worked great
Packaging/appearance
It took me longer to get this out of the packaging than it did to install

I got this to install in my doorway its definitely more of a chinup bar as i cant get full range of motion at all for a shoulder width pullup

I didnt think about it too hard but the picture included clearly has a person doing a full extended pullup in what appears to be a standard doorway

A complaint i have is that this does not grip as well as i would like without making the bar extend so much that it actually flexes and pushes apart the corners of my doorframe a slight amount i suspect that this will cause damage over time

The rod does feel quality enough but the plastic locking sliders dont fit in and lock as smoothly as they could

That coupled with me needing to push the bar a bit too wide against the doorframe to keep it from sliding down during use make this less than ideal for me
