Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The handle pattern matches my old set, and i received them over night. These are heavy/sturdy- just like my others! They match perfectly. They wash well in dishwasher. The size is a little smaller than i expected.

My original set is between 20-30 yrs old. A little lighter in weight than expected by the oneida brand. My old 25 year old set is from reed and barton purchased on qvc.

Cons

This flatware is undersized, thin, and almost looked like plastic silverware. The color even looks duller.

The utensils have no weight to them. I think they look more like walmart spoons that are 2 for $1. Teaspoons and only one tablespoons instead of 4 and 4.

Reasons thinner with a cheap feel. They are thinner and lighter weight, not as sturdy. The shape of the handle is not the same.

Their motto, quality since 1880 no longer applies. It is very disappointing to see the quality of pretty much everything on the decline as more and more companies outsource to china.

Quality

Very nice set of utensils the weight is acceptable for every day home use

Nice quality for everyday or company use

I purchased a different brand of spoons before and found that they were very flimsy lightweight

One time a spoon got chewed up in the garbage disposal for 12 seconds

Packaging/appearance

I especially like that all was securely wrapped and covered inside the box

Each piece comes in its own plastic sleeve to protect it in shipping from scratches

Competitiveness

Im glad to buy replacements and i hope oneida keeps making the same set for another 15 years

Oneida is a recognizable brand that makes dinnerware worth the price
