I put a piece of tape on each side of the film at one corner and when i pulled them apart the clear backing came away

Its a challenge to install but film like this will be difficult by its nature

There is a bit of a tinteffect causing the light coming from the window a bit darker than if the chrome film was not applied

If youre looking for only heatreduction try a transparent heatblocking film

This is not a con for me as i keep my drapes closed at night so people cannot see inside of my home without or without a chrome film on the window
