Pros

The upside down fish pie, teriyaki shrimp, and the shrimp fried rice, wow…. I also love that each recipe has a large color photo to show you how the dish should look when it's finished. Love the layout with photos of the ingredients.

Jamie wants to make cooking easy, practical, and tasty. I was sold on the book by his breezy and upbeat bbc series about these one-pan wonders. The only con is that one makes me miss london and the borroughs food market there! Thanks, jamie oliver.

The only drawback to the book that i see, is that he sometimes uses exotic ingredients. Two tablespoons of olive oil in a dough recipe is definitely an ingredient, and not just a baking given. His recipes never disappoint.



Cons

For a cookbook which promises simple recipes, this is a disappointment. Most of the recipes call for a small amount of an ingredient you won't have. The recipes are not feasible for the average person.
