Pros & Cons
Pros
The red beam is less harsh on the full spectrum/ir cameras and it doesn't mess up everyone's night vision like a white beam does. Very rugged build. Nice built in metal clip for hooking on the outside of my pants pocket.
This is nicer, on off. Was able to modify it to work with a hand pressure switch. Easy to install one battery (does not come with one).
Highlights
Quality
Plenty of light without messing with the night vision
Works well good red light which peserves night vision
Update 91419i am still happy with this for nighttime disc golf rounds
Competitiveness
To reduce the brightness somewhat i use a aa rechargeable instead of a 14500

This flashlight is palmsized but when the battery is fully charged the light is bright enough to illuminate a large part of the trail meaning it illuminates in terms of yards not feet
