Initially it didnt accept settings for one of the units but tech support was great and now it controls everything

Even if it doesnt have a button you need openclose on the dvd player for example it has buttons that can be programmed to become that button

The preprogrammed codes work for the most part but if what youre looking for isnt there the remote can be upgraded over the phone

When i bought it digital tv tuner boxes hadnt come out yet

But when i called the company upon purchasing the zenith digital tv converter box in june i just held the remote up to the earpiece of the phone and they were able to update its programming on the spot
