This is the first time i've listened to a book by this author. Listened to this book through the library and loved every mi ute of it. I have this feeling that you get when you read a book that exceeds your expectations.

Wilhelmina 'mina' penny has been raised in a guarded and controlled environment by her uncle, sir malcolm. Mina is everything he is not looking for in a bride, she is solar, she attracts light and shines. She is like a ticking bomb.

Lenora bell writes heroines that really go after what they want. Bell creates well-rounded, flawed, quirky and fallible characters that attract, charm and beguile the reader.

Cons

The heroine is unlikable and so annoying. Every chapter * along interminably. This review is for the audio version, which i just returned.
