I was impressed that this came with the hardly seen extra fast usb cable to connect it to the computer
Each usb port seems to be limited to 300mah with the power supply attached
I am not convinced the power cable actually helps though

I cant say for sure that it is usb3 but it definitely can be used as a usb2 individually switched seven port hub
That was supposed to be a usb2 seven port hub but was only usb1

This item functions as a 7 port usb 3it is in fact 2x4 port usb 3 hubs with the last 4ports daisychained from port3 of the first hub

The unit comes with its own power supply so you are not limited by the power coming from your pc

The power supply comes with a cable that is about 60cm and the power supply itself is only 1a which is a lot for 1 usb port but not for 7
