I was a little hesitant about buying this book on the basis it only focuses on side dishes and so unlike most other cookbooks it is not and does not purport to be a one stop shop

Im a pretty good cook and i pride myself on my vegetable and side dish cooking but i kept seeing people whose opinions i trust raving about this so i eventually caved in

For those liking illustrations each recipe has a full page colour photograph of wellabove average quality
