This is much more than essays on aging, on “getting old” gracefully. The book has the courage to address the current political situation. This heartfelt book reveals a gifted author.
Parker palmer is a quaker elder, educator, activist, and founder and senior partner emeritus of the center for courage & renewal. I'm very thankful to have discovered his work.

This book could have been salvaged, perhaps, if the editor had been heavier handed when cutting chunks of rambling, irrelevant and tedious thoughts. This book is just a rant about trump.
Palmer preaches themes of paradox and souls sacrificed to ego. Romans 2:1 must be left out of palmer's bible. Palmer, maybe it's time you really got fierce with reality, as you suggest.
