The heaviest weight i’ve added is 45 lbs. This one is just enough to flesh out a couple of lighter weight exercises i had to give up from a gym. Tough for biceps/pulling workouts but great for triceps.

    The length of the cable requires the pulley to be at least a couple feet above your head if you want to stand while doing the exercises

    Also added length of chain for drag to minimize weight swing but if movements are done slow enough its not much of a factor

    I was uncomfortable with tricep barbell exercises and was shopping around for some sort of pulley stack machine

    Most of them need to be attached to a rack and it got pricey quickly

    You can get used weights for about 2 a pound and retail for 3
