Pros

It has different settings for times to open and close so you can customize it to just what you want. It closes itself based on the amount of daylight.

Cons

For a door that slides horizontally, your options are limited. Overall, i believe their programming is borderline inhumane. The door is quite small and some of my hens (sapphire gems) do not go in and out easily or willingly like they did before.
